I often have red and itchy eyes, and I'm worried about it.

I have had dry eye syndrome for a long time, so my eyes feel gritty and I also feel like there is something foreign in my eyes.
I have a prescription for artificial tears and am applying them, but they sting a lot. It seems like more than half of it just passes through the eye and comes out.

Even when I apply sunscreen avoiding around my eyes, maybe because of sweat, it seems to get into my eyes.
