What is the reason for swollen hands in the morning?

My hands tend to swell repeatedly in the morning. I thought it was just simple swelling, so I ignored it, but the recurring symptoms are becoming concerning. The stiffness appears for a certain period, then improves with movement, and this cycle repeats.
Occasional finger joint pain also occurs.
I'm worried and uncomfortable, so I'm contemplating whether I should go to the hospital, but I'm also afraid of the results.
