Question) Is physical therapy effective after 6 weeks of casting due to a toe fracture?

My younger sibling had a toe fracture and was in a cast for six weeks after surgery.

And recently, I took off my cast, but it seems that walking is not easy.

The hospital told him to walk without crutches immediately, but it seems my younger sibling is having difficulty walking.

It has been almost a month, but I still feel uncomfortable walking.

At the hospital, they said physical therapy is not really necessary and to just do walking exercises. I'm curious if physical therapy is truly ineffective.

It's been over a month since I've been limping, and I want to walk properly and a bit faster by receiving physical therapy.
