Plantar pain

My soles have been a bit sore lately.

I go for a walk every morning, but sometimes my heel hurts.

I saw a friend suffering a lot from plantar fasciitis and experiencing significant discomfort.

They say it doesn't heal and must be treated as it occurs.

Is there any way to prevent it?
