[Health Concern] Unexplained numbness at the tips of toes

Sometimes, when I stay still, I feel a tingling or numbness in my thumbs or one of my toes, which are far from the heart. I think I am in a comfortable position, but lately I have been exercising diligently, so I don't think it's a blood circulation problem. Why does this happen? Do others experience the same?
