(Question) I have a severe tingling sensation in my fingertips. Would it be good to wear a brace?

For the past two days, I have been having severe numbness in my fingertips and wrists while sleeping, making it very difficult to get any sleep. Would a wrist brace be effective for this tingling sensation in the wrists and fingertips? I suspect the cause is excessive use of my smartphone and overuse of my hands, such as doing housework. I see there are many different types of wrist braces; which kind is effective for severe tingling in the fingertips? Please recommend a wrist brace that you found effective.
