I feel a lingering sensation in my throat after taking the capsule.

I feel uncomfortable because it feels like medicine is stuck in my throat after taking health supplements. Even when I swallow it with water, it feels stuffy as if something is remaining in my throat, and it bothers me for quite some time.
I feel this sensation more intensely when I take capsules or pills, so I am wondering if I am swallowing them incorrectly or if there is a problem with my esophagus or throat.
I am worried about whether these symptoms are simply temporary or if I need to see a doctor if they keep recurring. I also want to know if drinking more water or changing my eating habits could help.
