Lately, I have been having vivid dreams every night, which make me feel heavy and unrefreshed every morning. What could be the cause?
Lately, I am worried because whenever I go to bed at night, I cannot get a deep sleep due to vivid dreams, and I feel extremely tired every morning. In the past, even if I did dream, I would not remember it well or would only dream occasionally; however, recently, specific scenes linger in my mind as if I had just watched a movie, and I feel like my brain is constantly active even while I am sleeping, making it very difficult to get a good night's sleep.
I am wondering if the prolonged REM sleep stage is due to high stress levels or changes in my surroundings, or if psychological anxiety or physical exhaustion could be the main causes of these excessive dreaming symptoms. For those of you who, like me, have been tormented by dreams all night and still feel tired upon waking, I would be very grateful if you could share any methods for creating a comfortable sleeping environment or good habits for relaxing the mind.
