I have recurring migraine headaches that feel like they're stabbing me on one side of my head.

My migraines got worse as I became more sensitive to light and sound.

I'm trying to control my migraine symptoms with medication and lifestyle management.

 

At first I thought I just had more frequent headaches.

But the pain always started on one side and was a strong, throbbing sensation.

Especially on days when I couldn't sleep, my migraine symptoms came on more quickly.

My eyes were dazzled and I was nervous about even the slightest noise, making daily activities difficult.

One day, I felt so nauseous that I couldn't do anything and just lay in my room.

Every time I did, I realized that this wasn't just a headache, but a migraine symptom.

The problem was that once the pain started, it lasted for hours.

Even if I took painkillers, the migraine symptoms didn't go away right away, and if I missed the timing, the migraine symptoms got worse.

The hospital explained that stress and sleep patterns can affect it.

So I tried to keep my sleep schedule consistent and cut down on caffeine.

As I managed it that way, the frequency of my migraine symptoms gradually decreased.

It's not completely gone, but it's not like I'm canceling my schedule like I used to.

These days, I rest right away when I feel the signs before the pain starts.

If you respond early, you can catch the migraine before it gets worse.

Through this experience, I learned that migraine symptoms are not something that can be resolved by enduring them, but rather that management is important.

I still get migraines occasionally, but I'm not as scared as I used to be.

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle seems to be the most realistic way to reduce migraine symptoms.
Maintaining and changing your lifestyle isn't as easy as it sounds, but I'm working hard because I think it's much better than living with migraines.
