Why do things like this happen so often next to my nails?

Obviously, while cutting, check the other fingers as well.
There are times when it clearly didn't happen, but then it happens again two days later.
I think it's really strange
If I think about it carefully, is it because I didn't apply lotion thoroughly to my nails?
I think it might be because I only apply hand cream thoroughly to the back of my hand and fingers ^^;;;
That's why I always carry nail clippers in my bag when I go out.
If you do that outside, you'll be really nervous.
