Question) The back of my head hurts and sometimes feels like it's stabbing me. Why is that?
Recently, I've been experiencing a throbbing sensation in the back of my head, followed by a sharp, stabbing pain. It's not constant, but rather a sudden, sharp pain that lasts for a few seconds before subsiding. While the pain isn't severe, it's bothersome and concerning because it persists in the same area. It seems to be more frequent on days when I'm tired, have been sitting for long periods, or have been looking at my smartphone or computer for extended periods. It can also occur when my neck or shoulders feel stiff. I'm curious if this symptom is simply muscle tension or if it's related to a nerve or blood vessel issue. If anyone has experienced similar symptoms, please share what caused them, whether they required medical attention, and if there are any management methods that have helped.
