I have a ringing sound in my ears and it feels like something is stuck in them.

Lately, I keep hearing a beeping sound and a rustling sound in my ears.
Even if I dig with an earpick, nothing comes out. The sound seems to be louder when I'm in a quiet place.
I don't know if it's simply due to aging or if there's a functional problem. Should I go to the hospital?
