Could excessive food intake and a fatty diet in a short period of time be a direct cause of enteritis?
Hello! I recently had to be hospitalized with sudden symptoms of enteritis, and I've been increasingly worried about my health. The night before, I had a huge appetite and ate a whole chicken, a pack of ramen, two slices of bread for dessert, and ice cream all in one sitting. I'm curious to know which part of this diet caused the most strain on my intestines.
I've always been a good eater, so I thought I was fine. However, I'd like to know if consuming this much oily food, flour, and cold frozen desserts in such a short period of time could have irritated my intestinal mucosa and caused inflammation. I don't want to experience this pain again after discharge. Could you please advise me on what I should have been particularly careful about in my diet at the time, and what dietary habits I should maintain while working to restore my intestinal health?
