I've been suffering from ingrown toenails since this year, and applying medicine doesn't seem to have much effect.
My big toe is slightly swollen, but I can walk without any discomfort...
I went to the dermatologist today. They said to get nail trimming surgery, but I'm afraid of the pain and I'm hesitant. Do I really need surgery? They say it can recur even if I get surgery. Is it possible to treat ingrown toenails by getting them done at a nail salon?
