(Question) When will my loss of smell due to coronavirus return?

Even during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I survived without getting sick. Now, out of the blue, I'm experiencing a severe fever, cough, and runny nose. The most difficult part is the loss of my sense of smell. I can't taste anything when I eat, and I've tried perfume and body lotion, but they all smell nothing. I'm curious to know if anyone who's experienced COVID-19-related loss of smell will recover soon, and if there are any aftereffects.
