I've heard that some people at Korean medicine clinics take herbal medicine for dieting purposes. Is it effective?

I'm thinking about herbal medicine because I'm not very good at Western medicine.

약 잘챙겨 드시면 배가 고프지 않고 음식이 땡기지 않는다고 해요
먹는거 줄이면 다이욧 효과는 분명  있을꺼요
