Is the stabbing pain in the lower left side of my neck related to GERD?

I occasionally get a stinging pain in the lower left part of my neck, like a needle being pricked.
The pain is mild, but it feels like a stabbing pain, so it's bothering me.
Since it happens regardless of whether you're sitting or lying down, it doesn't seem to have anything to do with posture.
It happens frequently, even before or after meals, and it seems to have nothing to do with it.
I've occasionally experienced heartburn or a lump in my throat in the past, so I'm wondering if this symptom might be related to gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Could GERD also cause this kind of burning pain in a specific area of the lower throat?
