Question) I want to know the cause and treatment when a blood vessel in my eye bursts.
I think I've unconsciously rubbed my eyes at least once in my daily life when my eyes felt itchy, one eye felt heavy, or kept closing.
As I was doing that, I didn't feel anything and I didn't have any symptoms, but I think I had accumulated some fatigue and was a bit stressed. I ended up using the computer a lot.
It's true that I haven't been able to rest comfortably for several days. So, there were many times when I couldn't get a full night's sleep. I even found myself blinking frequently.
The next day, I looked in the mirror and saw that where I had rubbed my eye, the white of my eye was not a blood vessel, but a bloodshot, red, swollen spot. For a moment, I looked in the mirror and was really scared and surprised. But since it was the weekend, I couldn't go to the ophthalmologist and didn't know what to do, so I just washed my eyes thoroughly and continued to use artificial tears.
Why do the blood vessels in the whites of my eyes burst so big?
Is there a quick way to treat a burst blood vessel in the eye?
If there is a good way, I would like to know.
