Question: I have a rash-like spot on my skin that hasn't gone away for a long time.

My skin started to break out in rashes and hives. It was itchy, so I scratched it. At first, I thought it was a mosquito bite, so I treated it with something like a balm or a water patch. Then, as time passed and the itchiness subsided, I thought, "Oh, it's over." But as time passed, a week passed, then two weeks passed, and the hives and spots didn't go away and kept coming back. It was so strange. I went to the pharmacy and applied ointment, but the hives didn't go away. I'm really curious to know why. I need your help. Oh, and if there's any good ointment that's been around for this kind of skin since last year, I'd appreciate it if you could recommend it.
