Is it a problem if the tips of my fingers feel numb and tingly?

I didn't have these symptoms before, but recently, I've been experiencing strange numbness and tingling in the tips of my fingers. It's happening to all ten of them. They're somewhat better during the day, but the numbness is especially severe when I wake up. I started experiencing these symptoms about two weeks ago. I thought it would go away after a few days, but it's still happening. Is there something wrong?
