What kind of massage is good for pain that feels like the arm muscle is being torn?

Last week, I overworked myself by moving and doing some spring cleaning. I overworked my arms and hands, and I keep getting muscle pain and a pain that feels like my arm fascia is tearing. What should I do? Would something like a hot pack or massage help? What kind of massage would be good for relieving the pain?
