Is it problematic that herpes simplex virus type 2 blisters leave marks that last unusually long?

Hello?
When I get stressed, I often develop cold sores caused by herpes simplex virus type 2 on my lips.
Usually, within a week, the blister swells, then subsides, and the marks disappear.
However, this time, the traces are unusually persistent and last a long time.
Is this kind of situation caused by a problem?
