Recently, I have been frequently getting cold sores on my lips, so I am worried. Usually, they appear once when I am tired or stressed, but these days, it seems to happen almost once or twice a month.
It starts with a tingling or stinging sensation before blisters form, and it lasts quite a long time until a scab develops.
Is there a special reason why I frequently get cold sores? I'm wondering if it's related to immune system issues or if it might be a sign of other health problems.
Should I go to the hospital?
Please let me know if there are any ways to prevent or manage it!
