Sinusitis: My child's under-eye area is swollen... Could it be related?

My child has sinusitis, and today I noticed that their under-eye area is a bit swollen and they said it hurts.
Could this possibly be a symptom caused by sinusitis?
I'm worried because it's not just swelling, but she's also saying it hurts...
