Question) I'm a beginner runner, and my ankles feel sore when I run. Could it be because of my posture?
It's been about a year since I started running.
About 6 to 8 months last year
I ran about 6 kilometers seven times a week.
Since the beginning of this year, I have increased my distance to 7-8 kilometers.
The number of training sessions was about 5 to 7 days.
Until last year, I didn't experience any aching sensations in my ankles while running, but during the past week when I started running steadily for 8 kilometers, my right ankle has been aching.
Rested over the weekend and also applied a hot compress to my ankle.
I feel a little better after doing some stretching.
Yesterday, after completing the 8-kilometer run again, the symptoms reappeared.
Is it because of the incorrect posture?
Or is it because the running distance is too much?
I'm not sure.
What I am currently guessing is the running posture.
They said they recently changed it.
In the past, if the entire sole of the foot touched the ground
Now, bend your upper body forward toward the toes (toward the toes).
Running.
Maybe after struggling like me
If anyone has recovered, please share some helpful tips~~
