I'm worried because I keep waking up due to coughing while sleeping.

My recent health concern is that I can't sleep at night because of coughing.
I visited only three hospitals, and they all said it was bronchitis and prescribed medication, but I still keep coughing nonstop in the middle of the night.
There are no other symptoms, only a cough.
Sometimes phlegm comes out together, but even without phlegm, the cough continues.
I wake up at night coughing and can't sleep properly, and once I cough, it’s so forceful that it feels like my stomach is turning inside out.
Drinking honey water and turning on the humidifier haven't made much difference.
The chest X-ray shows no abnormalities in the lungs. Could it possibly be asthma, or are there other symptoms?
Please, I just want to sleep well at night.
