[Question] I was diagnosed with pneumonia and am taking medication.

I thought it was just a cold, but it lasted quite a long time, so I went to a second hospital and was diagnosed with pneumonia.
I originally had a disease in my bronchial tubes, so I am diligently taking medicine.
Why does my back sometimes hurt as if it were stabbing me every time I take a deep breath when I'm not feeling well?
In very severe cases, even light breathing can be painful, causing breathing to be very short and rapid.
Why is that so?
