On the second day of the holiday and Sunday, the 26th, rain or snow will fall across various parts of the country until dawn.

The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that until early this morning, rain or snow would fall on the eastern coast and mountainous areas of Gangwon, the eastern coast and northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang, and Busan and Ulsan.

The expected snowfall is approximately 1-5 cm in the mountainous areas of Gangwon, around 1 cm in the northeastern mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk, and 1-5 cm in the mountainous areas of Jeju Island. The expected rainfall is less than 5 mm along the east coast and mountainous areas of Gangwon, less than 5 mm in Busan, Ulsan, and the eastern coast and northeastern mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk, and less than 5 mm in Jeju Island.

 

In addition, there will be occasional rain in Jeju Island until late afternoon, and from the night, rain or snow will fall in Gangwon Province. Some areas in eastern Gyeonggi will experience snowfall of less than 0.1 cm.

The Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong region, and Jeolla region will be mostly cloudy, while Gangwon Province, Gyeongsang Province, and Jeju Island will generally be cloudy.

The morning low temperatures will range from -5 to 5 degrees, and the daytime high temperatures will fluctuate between 5 and 11 degrees.

The minimum morning temperatures in major areas are Seoul -1°C, Incheon -1°C, Suwon -2°C, Chuncheon -3°C, Gangneung 2°C, Cheongju -2°C, Daejeon -2°C, Jeonju 0°C, Gwangju 0°C, Daegu -1°C, Busan 4°C, and Jeju 7°C.

The daytime high temperatures are Seoul 7°C, Incheon 6°C, Suwon 7°C, Chuncheon 6°C, Gangneung 6°C, Cheongju 8°C, Daejeon 8°C, Jeonju 8°C, Gwangju 8°C, Daegu 9°C, Busan 11°C, and Jeju 10°C.

Fine dust levels are expected to be 'good' across all regions.
