Is it okay not to stop taking hair loss medication in the middle?

I am currently taking hair loss medication and I am wondering if I can stop taking it midway.
I am worried because I've heard that hair loss resumes if I stop.
I am curious if there are any cases where it was stopped due to side effects.
I'm worried about my health.
