The effects of scalp scaling received at the hair loss care center

I once suffered from alopecia areata, where pimples on my scalp caused by seborrheic dermatitis damaged my hair roots and led to hair loss. The doctor told me it was simply root damage due to skin inflammation and not actual hair loss, so I recovered after treatment. However, that experience made me realize I needed to take care of my scalp. Since then, I have been getting treatments at a scalp care shop occasionally—though not consistently—and I immediately felt the effects of scalp scaling.

 

The place I went to was a clinic located within a specialized hospital, and since it was a place where I could receive specialized scalp care, I was able to undergo a more systematic examination.

I was a bit surprised at first when I checked my scalp on the monitor after the shoot... I was shocked to see some dead skin cells and oiliness, but the esthetician told me that it's normal for everyone, so I felt relieved. 😅

The results showed that I needed to manage my pores, dead skin cells, and oil, so I received a scalp scaling treatment.

 

Next, go into the treatment room and get a scalp massage.

My scalp is slightly sensitive, but I felt refreshed immediately after the massage. It wasn't irritating and felt as comfortable as getting a shampoo at a hair salon.

 

After the massage, we proceed with a full-scale scalp scaling treatment using a natural scaling agent.

It’s not like they shoot or apply things directly to your scalp just because it’s a procedure; instead, the therapist applies an ampoule that removes impurities while providing care with a galvanic device! It feels really refreshing!

The scalp scaling effect was quite good. Since it is a cooling device, I felt a refreshing sensation, and it felt like the heat on my scalp was going down.

 

After the massage and scaling, I also applied a scalp pack.

Finally, I applied the ampoule one more time, received one more treatment with the device, and it was finished!

 

Depending on the program, you can either dry your hair yourself or receive care that includes drying.

I think the scalp scaling effect would be better if I had a professional take care of everything, including drying my hair, but due to the price, I dried it myself haha.

 

After everything was finished, they took another photo of my scalp and showed me the before and after comparison, and I could definitely see the difference.

 

My oiliness decreased, and my pores and dead skin cells disappeared. I realized why everyone says scalp scaling is so effective.

Before the treatment, sebum and dead skin cells were stuck to my scalp in white, but after the treatment, it looked clean and moisturized without any dead skin cells!! I felt the biggest effect of the scalp scaling in this aspect.

While scalp care may not completely prevent hair loss, it certainly seems to help maintain a clean scalp environment. I think it is worth trying at least once, especially for those who, like me, have suffered from seborrheic dermatitis or scalp issues. I was very satisfied because my scalp felt like it could breathe after the treatment. Personally, I felt that scalp scaling is quite effective for those struggling with scalp heat or excess sebum.

Of course, you won't see dramatic changes after just one treatment, but my hair feels less greasy and my scalp feels much cleaner, so I plan to get it done occasionally in the future. After receiving it, I definitely understood why everyone talks about the effects of scalp scaling!
