Pohang's Famous Dermatology Clinic, The First Clinic
The clinic I will introduce today is "The First Dermatology Clinic," located in the Medical Tower in front of the Pohang Intercity Bus Terminal.
From the outside, it only says "The First Clinic," so some people might not realize it is a dermatology clinic.
If you search on the internet
As you can see, this is a dermatology clinic... It is a clinic that is well-known through word of mouth.
I visited today, but I didn't manage to take any photos of the hospital interior... It's a shame, but I'm attaching a picture of the medicine bag instead.
The reason I went today was because I had some pimples on my face that were starting to look like scars. If it had just been one or two, I would have just squeezed them and left it at that, but my face completely broke out. I was wondering what to do, but another colleague at the office recommended this place. They said it is a dermatology clinic where they provide excellent care, so I took a half-day off work in the afternoon to visit.
Since it is a medical tower, there are many floors; the structure was such that you had to go to the 5th floor first to register, and then go to the 4th floor.
It was a weekday lunch, but we had to wait quite a while, so I think I waited for about an hour... (I should have made a reservation... darn...)
Anyway, when I went for my check-up, the doctor squeezed out a few ripe ones and applied some ointment. He suggested that we try managing it with medication first before attempting any other treatments. After talking to him, I left. It did hurt a bit having someone else squeeze them for me compared to when I do it myself, but since the doctor did it for therapeutic purposes, I figured it would be fine, so I just went back home.
It's only been a few hours since I got back, but I already feel a bit settled, so I'm actually looking forward to something.
I hope you recover soon.
It was my first time visiting, but I realized it’s famous for a reason. There were a lot of people waiting, and the service was so kind that it made me want to go again. :)
