Busan University Hospital Mobile Messenger Alert Payment!
I regularly visit Yangsan and Pusan National University Hospital due to illness.
I went to get a CT scan again this time.
I go regularly thinking of it as a routine health checkup, and I go without resistance, believing it's my destiny.
The doctors and nurses are all very kind, so I think I can continue to visit regularly for a long time. I have been coming here for 6 years.
I also attend, and my husband attends as well.
I found out that Pusan National University Hospital has started the first service in the Busan area that allows patients to easily pay their medical bills through notification messages on mobile messengers!
First KakaoTalk payment service opened in the Busan area
It is effectively used to reduce congestion at the counter and shorten the time spent in the hospital by allowing direct payment and receipt through KakaoTalk notification messages without waiting for payment after consultation, thereby helping to prevent infections.
This seems to be a convenient payment system that emerged during COVID-19! It's really a friendly payment service, haha.
At outpatient clinics, in order to pay for medical expenses, patients would take a number ticket at the payment counter and wait for their turn. After waiting for a long time and hearing their number called, they would go to the counter to make the payment and receive a paper receipt. However, there is no longer a need to go to the payment counter to pay medical expenses. The Busan University Hospital's "Medical Expense Notification Talk Easy Payment Service" allows patients to receive a KakaoTalk notification from the hospital and make the payment directly within KakaoTalk. This service reduces the hassle for patients and guardians who would otherwise have to take a number ticket and wait for payment!
Since it is based on KakaoTalk, users do not need to install a separate app or register as a member for payments. It is also said that medical expense receipts are provided as PDF files. I had not known this until now.
Payment systems are changing to keep up with the times.
Yangsan/Busan National University Hospital are connected together, so they are considered one hospital~
Busan National University Hospital expects that this service will significantly increase usage through the familiar mobile messenger notification, which is commonly used in daily life. Additionally, it is anticipated to reduce congestion at the payment counters and shorten patients' stay within the hospital, thereby aiding infection prevention activities. We hope many people will use it comfortably.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I also made bank transfers during phone consultations, and I think the major changes in the payment system make it more convenient for customers.
Today, I had a CT scan at Yangsan/Busan University Hospital, and I hope my CT results turn out well.
Please wait!
