I received laser treatment at a dermatology clinic for syringomas around my eyes.

This is a review of a procedure I eventually underwent, even though I wasn't interested in removal at first.

Syringomas are similar to milia, but they are a different skin condition.

I received a total of 3 laser treatments.

Just like milia, syringomas require multiple treatments to be completely removed.

It swells a lot after the initial removal... and the laser marks are also very noticeable.

It also swells up really hard and turns red, and it oozes fluid.

 

 

So I was worried if this was done correctly.

Since the sweat gland sacs were cauterized with a laser, small holes appear.

It didn't hurt, but you should allow a few weeks for recovery.

The interval between laser treatments is also on the longer side.

However, contrary to my worries, the procedure went smoothly.
