Review of laser removal of a hard-to-locate tear punctum at Ilsan Clean Up Dermatology

The hospital of my life that was worth every penny I was thinking about where this might have been.

The first clinic that came to mind was Ilsan Clean Up Dermatology!

 

The reason I first came to this hospital was!

It wasn't a typical facial mole, but a difficult-to-treat mole located along the eye mucous membrane.

This is called a tear mole.

I've had it since I was young, but my parents and I were scared because of its location, so we kept putting off treatment.

For some reason, I felt like the spot was getting darker, so I had a removal procedure done.

It wasn't even near the eye, but a mole on the mucous membrane line, so I wondered if it could be removed cleanly.

I was also worried that it might affect my eyes.

They refused the procedure because of the location of the mole and told me to go to a plastic surgery clinic or an ophthalmology department at a general hospital.

During the consultation, they explained very thoroughly how the laser is performed, how many sessions are needed, and the subsequent recovery process, unlike with regular salons.

Above all, the fact that they told me it would disappear with just one laser treatment!

I trusted them even more because they anticipated in advance that I wouldn't need to undergo the procedure multiple times.

 

The reason I decided on the procedure

I was very tired of everyone talking about it, and not only for cosmetic reasons

I decided to remove the mole near my eye because it seemed to be getting darker.

 

Honest post-procedure experience: I was worried since it was my first time, but what made me think I made the right decision to go?
I applied anesthetic cream and put on eye protection, and the laser procedure was performed.

The anesthesia worked well, so I didn't feel any pain.

They gave me the mirror right after the procedure was finished, so I looked and saw a hole pop up right where the mole used to be!!

At first, I gasped in surprise, but that black spot really disappeared without a trace.

They said that new tissue would naturally grow in the hole, so they didn't stitch it up.

On the day of the procedure, my eyes were so swollen that my double eyelid line disappeared, even though the laser was only applied to the mucous membrane.

I couldn't help it, a few of my eyelashes got burned too.

I took care of it by applying ointment until new skin grew.

 

I thought it would take a really long time for the mucous membrane to heal, but it only took two weeks.

It was new skin, so it remained red.

 

Now that they have fully filled in, my eyes are completely clear!

I'm so glad I went to the hospital!!

The hospital atmosphere was... the hospital was bigger than I expected.

It is an old dermatology clinic that has been around for nearly 20 years, but I felt that it was clean and well-maintained.

Everyone was kind, and I liked that they didn't try to pressure me into getting any extra procedures.

 

Intention to Revisit: Would you go back to this hospital if you had another problem in the future?
Yes, there are plenty!

Even though it was a tear mole in a difficult location, it was removed so cleanly that I plan to come back here next time I need to remove a large or heavily pigmented mole.

It gets a perfect score for reliability, especially in that you can trust them with procedures on sensitive areas!
