I received cryotherapy for a wart on my finger. The nurse was kind, and the doctor's friendly explanation was helpful. Cryotherapy for warts is usually performed 2 to 3 times at three-week intervals. Pain may accompany the procedure for about 30 minutes to an hour afterward. Taking painkillers such as Tylenol is permitted. Blisters or black scabs may form on most treated areas. If the blisters are large, watery, or very uncomfortable, it is recommended to visit the hospital for treatment. It is essential to visit on the scheduled date. It has been about a week since the second procedure, and there is a black scab. I plan to revisit in two weeks.
