I was hospitalized at Gachon University Gil Hospital. Gil Hospital is located in Guwol-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon. You need to use the Incheon City Hall or Seokcheon Intersection subway stations, but since they are a bit far, it is more convenient to take the bus. As it is an established university hospital, it is used by many people. I was worried because there were many stories about unfriendliness, but the doctors and nurses were all kinder than I expected. During my stay, the elderly patient in the next bed kept sticking their feet out, which was a bit uncomfortable, but that is the patient's problem. The facilities were clean, unlike what you would expect from an old hospital, and I suspect they had undergone a renovation. The interior was very clean, like a brand-new building. The lounge was comfortable, and the room was decent, so I had no issues. The meals were also pretty good. The cost was quite high.
There were also many young doctors. I think the variety of medical specialties is an advantage, as they provide a wide range of treatments.
