Review of stye treatment at Wooridul Ophthalmology Clinic in Dongducheon

I had a long-standing, hardened stye, so I was told it needed to be simply anesthetized and incised, which is why I underwent the procedure. They put some eye drops in my eye, and a little while later, injected the anesthetic. Since my eyes are sensitive, it hurt a lot, but the nurses held my hand tightly, which helped a little. The procedure finished quickly, but it was incredibly painful afterwards. The doctor told me to apply ointment to my eye and not to touch it. He warned that my eye might swell and bruise, and when I got home, I saw that it was indeed bruised, looking just like eyeliner. I was relieved to hear that it would go away after a while. The next day, I had another eye exam and consultation, during which the doctor asked if I was feeling any discomfort or pain. The result was that the stye was completely removed, and as long as the wound is okay, he advised me to apply the ointment and eye drops while sleeping, which I am doing well. My eye used to feel heavy, but now it feels much lighter. I should have done this sooner; I was scared for no reason. They said I need more treatment, so I will have to keep visiting.
