I've had laser hair removal under my armpits about five times, and overall, I'm very satisfied. In the past, I only shaved, so the hair would quickly turn black, get scratched frequently, and become scarred, leading to severe pigmentation. This led to me reaching for sleeves every summer.
Of course, it's not like complete, permanent hair removal, where "not a single hair grows back," and some very fine hairs do grow back. Still, compared to before, the stress of managing it has been significantly reduced, and I feel like it's a highly satisfying procedure considering the time and cost. It's a little painful, but I think to myself, "This pain is more than compensated for by the comfort of being able to wear sleeveless tops in the summer."
