Goyang Open Orthopedic Clinic: Review of Treatment for Recurrence of Ganglion on the Back of the Hand

This is an honest review of a person who received treatment for a nodule on the back of their hand at Open Orthopedic Clinic.
Ganglions are lumps of synovial fluid that leak out. While they may disappear naturally, they require treatment if they grow larger or cause pain and bruising. I had a recurrence of a cyst in a previously treated area, so I went to the hospital. Fortunately, the size was small this time, so I received treatment to drain the fluid with a syringe. I was first examined with an ultrasound machine, and the injection was used for treatment. I also received physical therapy after the procedure. The injection scar was noticeable at first, but it disappeared after a few days, and now the back of my hand is smooth again. The downside is that there are so many patients on the waiting list, so the wait is long.
