Nine years ago, a molar crown fell out while I was eating. Shocked, I took it to the dentist. I went there believing it was the same dentist I'd had my child's cavity treated two months prior. Unfortunately, they said I couldn't get the crown replaced and would need an implant. I was both surprised and upset by the unexpected implant procedure. Oh, and it's already an implant... I was nervous about getting an implant, but perhaps because I was under anesthesia, I felt no pain during the procedure. I had to bite on cotton for about two hours, and the bleeding continued, which worried me. Fortunately, the bleeding stopped after about three hours, and the pain wasn't that bad after the anesthesia wore off, which was a relief. I hope it heals well so I can get my teeth put in soon.
