Around this time last year, I had a health checkup and found out I had a lump on my thyroid. I thought it had gone away because I had it since I was little, but it was still there. The doctor said I should get a biopsy because it was big and didn't look good, and thankfully it came back benign. However, he said I should get it done regularly, so I got another thyroid biopsy today, a year later. It hurts no matter how much I do it, and I'm not used to it, but they did their best to make it as painless as possible. Since I'm preparing for pregnancy, I couldn't get IVs, so they told me to rest as much as possible. The nurses were all so kind, and I don't remember the doctor's name, but he was so kind. I sincerely hope it's not thyroid cancer this time either...!
