My elbow hurt so I went to the hospital to get treatment.

It was my first time trying extracorporeal shock wave therapy, and what was surprising was that when the shock wave was applied to the painful area, it really hurt, but the areas that didn't hurt didn't feel any pain at all.
I've been seeing the doctor about once a week for three times now, but I'm still in pain. I'm debating whether I should continue seeing the doctor. The doctor and nurse are friendly.
