Receiving treatment at Bethesda Hospital, a rehabilitation hospital for stroke patients
After a stroke, I received cryotherapy (treating the patient at 34 degrees to stabilize their condition) at Ajou University Hospital and woke up two months later. A few days after waking up, I received notice to be discharged to a rehabilitation hospital.
I don't know why I was so heartbroken back then! I couldn't even walk and was stuck in a wheelchair, yet they told me to be discharged...
Since Ajou University said they had to vacate the hospital room to accept a severe patient, I had no choice but to be discharged to Bethesda Rehabilitation Hospital.
After diligently receiving rehabilitation training from physical and occupational therapists at Bethesda for two years, I recovered about 95% of my physical capabilities and am now continuing to exercise at home. The medical staff at Bethesda provide consultation and treatment from the patient's perspective, and the physical and occupational therapists treat me as if I were their own parents, so I have absolutely no complaints.
If I have a recurrence of a stroke, I would like to visit this place again. When I first came, Ajou University recommended it, but now I want to recommend it to others myself.
