I feel relieved after having my conjunctival stones removed at Siheung Seoul Eye Clinic.

Recently, I visited Seoul Eye Clinic in Siheung because I've been experiencing a persistent foreign body sensation in my eye. Every time I blink, it stings, like sand in my eye, and artificial tears don't help, so I decided to get checked out.

I didn't have to wait long after registering, and the overall flow was clean. After a basic vision and intraocular pressure test in the examination room, I went into the examination room. The doctor immediately examined my eyes closely with a slit lamp and explained that I had multiple conjunctival stones.
At first, I was a bit surprised that stones could form in the eye, but it was explained to me in a relatively easy way that they can form when waste products harden and that friction can make the foreign body sensation worse, so I understood.

Fortunately, they said same-day removal was possible, so I went ahead with it. They administered anesthetic eye drops, so there was virtually no pain, and keeping my eyes open was only slightly uncomfortable. The actual removal took less than a few minutes, and they kept checking to see if I was okay, which helped ease my anxiety.

I felt a little tingly right after the procedure, but my eyes definitely felt better on the way home.
