Recently, I've been experiencing persistent hearing loss in my left ear and difficulty hearing on the phone, so I visited an ENT clinic. I initially dismissed it as simple fatigue, but just in case, I went in for a consultation. From the beginning, the therapist asked me very detailed questions about my symptoms, which really gave me confidence. They even meticulously checked for tinnitus or dizziness, including when my hearing loss began.
After the consultation, I immediately received a hearing test and eardrum check. The process was explained calmly, so I was able to relax. The test results showed temporary hearing loss in my left ear and signs of inflammation in the middle ear. I decided to combine medication with ear disinfection. I especially appreciated the fact that the doctor didn't push me toward a more serious condition and realistically explained my current condition and prognosis.
The treatment was virtually painless, and the ear cleaning was quick and thorough. After about two days of taking the medication, the tinnitus was noticeably reduced, and after about a week, I was able to hear much clearer sounds, which was very satisfying. What I found better about this hospital than others was that they showed my test results directly on the screen, explained them, and recommended only the most necessary treatments without unnecessary interventions. It put my mind at ease, as they didn't make me feel unnecessarily anxious.
