Anyang City's Bonpyeonhan Orthopedic Surgery Clinic Shares Knee Pain Management Experience

For the past three years, my left knee has been hurting, making walking difficult. I've been seeing an orthopedic surgeon regularly. I occasionally get X-rays to check the condition of my cartilage, and I get cartilage injections about once every six months. (Every six months, I get three injections of hyaluronic acid, which acts as a lubricant, once a week for three weeks. This is covered by health insurance.) I also get physical therapy several times a month, and I'm prescribed medication (joint medicine, anti-inflammatory painkillers, stomach medicine, etc.) to take daily. They say I'm not at the point where I need surgery yet. As I get older, I can't avoid hospitals and medications. Still, I guess I should consider myself fortunate...
