Siheung City Halladodam Dental Clinic, Scaling Experience Review: Satisfied with the friendly and thorough explanation!

My gums were frequently swollen and bled every time I brushed my teeth. I was worried that if I put it off, it would only get worse. So, after a consultation, I found out that my periodontitis was quite advanced, so I decided to proceed with scaling treatment right away. Before the appointment, I was given a thorough X-ray and the condition of my gums. They calmly explained the current stage and the reasons for the pain and bleeding, which made it easy to understand.
The scaling was performed directly by the director. Even before the procedure began, he constantly reminded me, "If you feel any discomfort, please let me know immediately," which really helped me relax. My gums were a bit tingly due to the amount of tartar I had, but he gave me frequent breaks and adjusted the pace, making it much easier than I expected. It didn't feel like he was just rushing through the process; I could feel the meticulous attention to detail and thorough cleaning of each tooth.
After the treatment, the dentist demonstrated and explained how to brush and floss properly for my gums, even using interdental brushes. He even gave me thorough instructions on how to care for my teeth, something other dentists don't usually teach, which was incredibly helpful. My gums were a little sore for a day or two, but the bleeding subsided immediately, and after a few days, my gums felt much more comfortable.
What I find better about this hospital than others is that they recommend only the essential treatments without overtreating, and they provide excellent explanations from the patient's perspective. I felt this was a place where even those who were hesitant about scaling could feel comfortable visiting.
