I am satisfied with the treatment for my child who plays sports at Barun Orthopedic Clinic in Siheung City.

My son, a baseball player, complained of persistent heel pain during training, so I took him to an orthopedic surgeon. At first, I thought it was simply from running too much, but the pain didn't go away even with rest, and he even limped after training, so I became concerned. After going to the hospital for a consultation, the doctor told me it could be heel overuse, a common problem in growing children. He ordered an X-ray to get a clearer picture of his condition.
Looking at the photos, the doctor explained that while there were no major bone problems, the repeated jumping and running had caused inflammation and stress around the heel. He explained everything at a child's level, which helped my son understand, and I was relieved that he wasn't unnecessarily scared. Treatment included physical therapy, stretching instruction to reduce the strain on his heel, and medication to relieve the pain. Even during physical therapy, the doctor in charge constantly monitored my son's condition, which gave me confidence.
After a few treatments, the pain was noticeably reduced, and I was able to walk and jog without any problems. Rather than just telling me to rest, they even gave me specific guidance on when and at what intensity to resume exercise, which felt much more systematic than other hospitals. What I was most satisfied with was the understanding and compassionate approach they provided to children who exercise.
