I had to make time for myself while working, so I made a reservation in advance and went in. They guided me very efficiently from registration to the examination process, so there was virtually no waiting. Preparation for upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures can be cumbersome and nerve-wracking, but the calming explanations before the procedure put me at ease. They explained everything from bowel preparation methods to post-procedure precautions, so I felt like even first-timers wouldn't have a hard time.
The endoscopy was performed under sedation, but I was reassured that they checked my condition continuously before going under anesthesia. When I woke up, the test was already complete. The results were immediately explained to me with photos, and I appreciated the ease of use, rather than complex medical jargon. Fortunately, there were no major abnormalities, but there was some evidence of inflammation in my stomach, so they advised lifestyle management and prescribed medication.
What I found better about Sejong Internal Medicine than other clinics was that they didn't conduct the checkups in a "perfunctory" manner. Despite the busy national health screening process, the results were explained thoroughly, and the staff answered my questions with sincerity, which gave me a sense of trust. Recovery was also quick, and I was able to resume my daily routine the afternoon of the test. I plan to come here for my next checkup, too.
