This is a review of armpit hair laser hair removal at the Hwajeong branch of Maypure Clinic in Goyang.

The Maypure Clinic I went to is the Hwajeong branch in Goyang, and it is a chain dermatology clinic with many branches in other regions.

I mainly got mole removal, syringoma removal, and other laser treatments here.

Procedure

The first thing to prepare is to trim your hair at home the day before you go for hair removal!

If you get hair removal on the same day or go to a dermatologist and get laser treatment right before the procedure, your skin will be irritated, so it is important to do basic preparation beforehand.

 

Because it is hair removal, we do not apply anesthetic cream like we do for moles or warts.

If you look at other reviews, they sometimes apply anesthetic cream, but the place I went to didn't hurt enough to apply anesthetic cream, so they just did it.

 

First of all, there is no pain at all, such as a throbbing sensation or a bruise that hurts when pressed!

Instead, it's very hot in the first round.

Since it's the first time the laser touches your skin, the first and second sessions are really painful. It smells like burning squid because it's hair removal. Haha.

From the third time onwards, my skin got used to it and it didn't sting or anything.

The time it takes to receive the laser is 1 minute per side, and at most 2 minutes.

The number of hair removal sessions varies depending on each person's skin condition. The place I went to had six sessions as standard, and since my hair isn't coarse, I finished with six sessions without any additional treatments.

Hair removal is done once a month. It's not a hassle because you don't have to go often.

There are no separate prescriptions for medication or ointment after the procedure. It's such a simple procedure.

Precautions: It is best to avoid showering with hot water or using a sauna immediately after the procedure.

It's been 5 months since I received the 6th treatment, and although it's not that long yet, not a single hair has grown and the effect is great.
